After getting married and having two daughters, Kelly felt something was still missing despite "checking all the boxes." At 40, she unexpectedly had her third child, which led to postpartum depression and severe inflammation that left her barely able to care for her baby.

Kelly's journey toward wellness began with healing her relationship with food. As a dancer who had survived on approximately 500 calories and five boxes of laxatives daily, she had severely damaged her body from the inside out.

"I'm a firm believer if we look at that mountain, there's no way we can jump from here to here. We get overwhelmed and we don't do anything. So I say to myself, what can I do 1% today that's going to move me closer to who I get to be, who I can impact?"
Three years ago, she took another significant step by removing alcohol from her life, a decision that further aligned her with her higher purpose despite initial questions from others.

"I said 'God help us,' and in a second her body went limp. She stopped crying, she was calm, she was peaceful, and they got all the readings... It was the most powerful moment of my life."

During the COVID pandemic, Kelly found a church community that helped her build a meaningful relationship with Jesus. This connection provided her with a profound sense of peace, particularly when facing challenges with her children.
"It's not about religion, it's not about wrong and right, it's about just surrendering because we don't have control over anything. The only thing we have control over is how we react, how we get to show up each and every day."
